  1. HI Guys
Looks like you’ve all settled well.
Thinking of you and full of admiration for your spirit of adventure.
    Blessings always
    Lea, Andy and the kids.

  2. Dear Lea & Andy

Thanks for the kind comment! This winter was actually very tough on us. We did not expect it to be this dramatically dreary; non-stop rain and darkness. So, a steep learning curve for all our little bare-foot go-outside-all-the-time Africans. But they have coped better than Corli and I, strangely enough, making their own indoor games and loving every challenge put to them. But, we so so miss the sun!!
Well, the Lord has given us a task and I can’t but think that our visit to your little chapel in Queenstown years ago must have been a piece in putting together the puzzle. How else would we even have been remotely willing to take on a church with denominational roots such as this? The Lord does move in delightful ways.

Love and blessings to you in sunny Oz!
    James

  3. Wow, the autumn / winter pics are beautiful. Its Monday morning here – thanks for taking me out of my neon-lit office for a moment.

Have you heard our daughter was born? 16 December. Emily Beth. Both her and Mom doing well.

We’ll keep you in our prayers and all the best for the coming year.

    Love,
    Ant & Lynn and family.

  4. Great to see you guys are settling down. Us we are back in Kenya and have also begun to settle. will keep in touch.

  5. Hey guys,
Well your ‘little Africans’ are surely not so little! They all are growing up so fast – even the littlest one! I can’t believe how big the girls are getting. One of the best photos had to be barefoot boy checking out the snow.

Miss you guys terribly and think of you often. Lovely to see where you are – dreary perhaps, but absolutely breathtaking according to the photies (unless you uploaded postcards of somewhere else, not photos of where you are!).

Trust you are well and experiencing God’s grace daily.

    All our love,

    Kim (& Ant)

  6. Oh – these pictures are just beautiful! So lovely!

  7. These photos are breathtaking!!
You mentioned in one of your posts that you are heading into spring after 3mths w/out sunshine…we are just heading into our autumn…brrr!!
Although our winter never gets so cold, that we get snow where we live…so we won’t get those picturesque photographs of the seasons moving from autumn to winter.

Thanks so much for sharing….I think I’m a little bit in love with where you live!

PS my son would totally be out in the snow with barefeet too! Too busy exploring to put on shoes ;)

PPS it is interesting how without words, you can see how much your family embraces nature and family time. Beautiful!!
